Hello, and welcome to my store! I have been painting for 12 years, and continue to try new things with my work. I am a painter, first and foremost, but I am taking my artwork and creating designs on doormats, nightlights, lamps, dishtowels, necklaces/pendants, magnets, furniture and other media in 2010.

Today is Wednesday August 4th-Summer is almost over! There are only a handful of thick doormats left(less than 10 of the "Stilt Houses" ones", at a reduced price, so order while they are here-I sold a ton of them at the spring shows-it's amazing how I went from stacks and stacks of them in my garage to one tiny stack. Folk Fest is a few weeks away as always at the North Atlanta Trade Center outside of Atlanta, our booth will be in the same location as always-the dates are Friday August 20th 5-10pm, Saturday August 21st and Sunday August 22nd from 10am-6pm. Once the show has come and gone I will updating the website with more artwork for sale.

I really want to have most of my things made in the USA-when I can I am making them myself (but there are only so many hours in the day and again, I love to paint more than anything!). I think it's really important to do that, with the exception of my doormats which are made with care and the best quality in India, and I feel good about that. I love to recycle and take things that other people would throw away and make something that people can wear, look at and use. Now, more than ever, I think practical art pieces that can be used on an everyday basis are so important-color makes life better, and I love to use a lot of color in my work.
