Hello, and welcome to my store! I have been painting for 12 years, and continue to try new things with my work. I am a painter, first and foremost, but I am taking my artwork and creating designs on doormats, nightlights, lamps, dishtowels, necklaces/pendants, magnets, furniture and other media in 2010.

Today is Thursday, January 28th, Happy New Year! Red Flower doormats are SOLD OUT but we still have some Stilt Houses ones on the website in both the thick 1.5 inch and the thinner .5 inch with vinyl on the bottom. ALL THREE NIGHTLIGHT DESIGNS ARE ON SALE! THE NEW DISHTOWELS ARE IN, AND THEY ROCK! The dishtowels have overwhelmingly been something that people love, wash, use and want-so it's been hard keeping up with the demand, and keeping my recycled and new fabric stash up to date. There are some new paper pieces on the website and a few new paintings as well.

I really want to have most of my things made in the USA-when I can I am making them myself (but there are only so many hours in the day and again, I love to paint more than anything!). I think it's really important to do that, with the exception of my doormats which are made with care and the best quality in India, and I feel good about that. I love to recycle and take things that other people would throw away and make something that people can wear, look at and use. Now, more than ever, I think practical art pieces that can be used on an everyday basis are so important-color makes life better, and I love to use a lot of color in my work.
